The phone book feature is designed to translate the number that is transmitted as the Caller ID to a friendly name.
For example:
- (555) 555 5555 is the number for your parents
- you type an entry for that number in the phone book
- enter the phone number “5555555555” and the name “Mom and Dad”
- YAC.NET will use the name “Mom and Dad” whenever that number is detected as the Caller ID
To delete an entry in the phone book, select it and hit “del” , or right click on a entry and choose “delete”.
